IMG 0294 2019We know these are uncertain and unprecedented times. Please know that we are working diligently behind the scenes to discuss and visualize what the upcoming months look like for Ballet Midwest and its dancers. We are working towards finding a balance of protecting the health of our dancers and the Topeka Community while maintaining the ability to bring excitement and joy through dancing and the arts – something we know everyone could use a little more of these days!
We have made the hard decision to further postpone the Spring Ballet performance of Don Quixote and cancel our My First Ballet production. Many features of our My First Ballet series would be difficult to continue while ensuring the safety of our audience and dancers. Don Quixote is scheduled to perform August 29 & 30 at the Topeka Performing Arts Center. Follow us on Facebook for the latest details!
We are aware that these necessary changes may continue to impact future performances beyond the immediate future and will continue to align our activities with those consistent with the state and county guidelines moving forward. The health of our dancers and our supporters remains our utmost concern. We cannot thank you enough for the support you continue to provide Ballet Midwest. We wish all of you, and your families continued good health, and look forward to seeing you on stage again soon!
Take care and be well,
Ballet Midwest Board of Directors
